Student Competition and Exhibition

The International Student Competition and Exhibitions provides an opportunity for students attending in pre-congress to exhibit their planning studio project nationally and internationally. Entries will be examined by international experts on the basis of planning concept, originality, innovation and content. (For Bachelor’s Students)
Output could be published as book edition.

Award purpose
The 2022 Spatial Studio Best Work Award was held with the aim of giving appreciation and encouraging improvement in the quality of spatial planning that is able to face the global transformation that is currently happening. Inclusive and innovative spatial planning prioritizes 5.0 human-centered planning and technology-based planning concepts. The plan is expected to transform big data collected through the internet in all areas of life (Internet of Things) into new wisdom that will be dedicated to improving human capabilities, opening up opportunities for humanity.
Award Goal

The goals of this award are:

  1. Appreciate the best work of the planning student studio that puts forward the 5.0 human-centred planning and technology-based planning concept.
  2. Displaying and disseminating the best work of planning student studios internationally

Job Requirements

  1. The work must be student work which is the work of the planning and design studio
  2. Works may be submitted by studio teams from all levels of the planning school semester
  3. The work is only limited to undergraduate level students
  4. Works are limited to those produced in the 2021 – 2022 learning period

Participant

  1. This competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate planning school students
  2. Student teams can submit 1 to 3 works for each category
  3. The student drafting team is still actively studying.

Selection and Judging System
  1. The work is sent to the committee in A1 size poster format for a minimum of 2 sheets and a maximum of 3 sheets in separate PDF files. Each poster file should not exceed 10 MB in. 
  2. The work is sent in duplicate. One copy is assigned a group identity and one copy is without identity
  3. The work is abstracted from the results of the planning and design studio lectures that have been or are being carried out at the undergraduate planning school
  4. The contents of each work display: the results of the planning or design in accordance with the scope of the studio and the planning or design process carried out.
  5. Scoring system, the jury doesn’t need to come at the venue. The jurors gives an assessment through the assessment form by looking at the exposure

                        Winner and Prize


                        The winner of the award is determined by the jurors

                        1. In each category, three (3) best works and one (1) favorite work will be selected to receive Certificate of Awards and Prizes
                        2. Prizes for each award category are in the form of Certificates and appreciation from: 
                        • Prize 1 : GPEAN + certificates
                        • Prize 2 : APSA + certificates
                        • Prize 3 : ASPI + certificates
                        • Prize 4 : ATR/BPN (Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning) + certificates
