WPSC – APSA Congress 2022

Call For Abstracts

This congress is aimed to create a forum for the exchange of ideas, a progressive hub for professional and academic networking as well as an alternative outlet to share your latest works. In order to participate in this congress, prospective presenters first need to submit an abstract. Please note that we only facilitate presentations and not any publication plans.

We invite you to consult the congress tracks and read the below instructions before making your submission.

  1. Abstracts should include: Background, purpose, and potential contributions; Data and methodology; Results; Conclusion;
  2. Keywords (max 5);
  3. Presenter(s) names, affiliations and contact details;
  4. Written in English, 200-400 words in length;
  5. Please indicate the congress track that you prefer to present your paper. The final acceptance of an abstract in a track is to be determined by the scientific committee and convenors.

  2. Informality, inclusion, and participation
  3. Heritage, culture, and identity
  4. Disaster, risk, and resilience
  5. Environment, climate, and health
  6. ICT, knowledge, and innovation
  7. Spatial analysis, methods, and modeling
  8. Governance and politics
  9. Infrastructure, transport, and mobility
  10. Rural, regional, and small island development
  11. Planning history, theory and practice
  12. Planning education and pedagogy
  13. Land, housing, and settlement

Please note:

  1. No presenter can submit more than one abstract. However, the same submitter can be a co-author (but not the first author) of more than one abstract.
  2. The Program Committee may, at its discretion, move any abstract from the session for which it is proposed to another session.
  3. Presenters must be registered by the advertised deadline or their abstract will be removed from the program. In the case of co-authored work, at least one contributor must be registered by the advertised deadline.

How to Submit?

All submissions are managed through the EasyChair conference management system. The abstract should be submitted online via EasyChair by 31 March 2022.

If you don’t have an account yet, you need to click the “Create new account” button first to have access to the submission form.
